Our first visit to the Children's Hospital as part of our new community service/art initiative took place on March 11th. With the help of our visiting delegation from Wesleyan we brought down about 10 project kids to get to know some of the hospital's kids. I have never been more proud of our kids...they worked on art, bracelet making, reading, puppet making (from mom's workshop last year!) and we sang 'Un Million de Amigos.' I think we really brought some joy to the kids and enjoyed giving back some of what we've learned. We also donated a BIG supply of bracelet making supplies (thanks to Rosmaurie for teaching the nurses!) art supplies and children's books.
