so out of nowhere yesterday it was announced that the 'animal parade' was about to get underway at the mirador (look out spot where there's that great view of the volcano) i was like...wha?? 'scuse me, did i hear you correctly? it was so low key and fantastic. i guess it's on it's 4th year...people (mostly kids) just started showing up with their costumed pets to show off for the small, but really encouraging crowd. what a blast!
in this time of uncertainty...disease, climate change and global inequality, what we need is a goat dressed up like superman. are you with me? i present 'supercabra.' faster than a speedy bixi-pedicab (not really as he arrived in one) and more powerful than a few other farm animals of comparable size... he made SUCH the entrance!
then there was mister rabbit (or was it mrs?) all decked out for the occasion. mr. green (or kermit as i affectionately called him) along with some gussied up canines.
